Jar Vacuum Sealer

This small and portable vacuum sealer will extend the life of the food that you want to preserve.  By removing the air from the Mason jar, it will keep air from turning your precious food rancid or moldy.  (Mason jars are not included.)  The sealer is super-easy to use.  Just put the lid on the jar, put the sealer on top of the lid and push the ON button.  Leave the vacuum on for 40 seconds or so, and the preservation process is done.

A few starter lids are included in your package. Jars and extra lids are available at CosasPrep.  The vacuum sealer works with both regular and wide mouth jars.  (Standard Mason canning jars.)  While this will not replace pressure canning in jars that will last for years, you can probably extend the life of a product from 3 to 5 times what could be expected without sealing.

This vacuum sealer features a rechargeable battery.  You can expect to get many (maybe well over 100) uses with just one charge.  (There is a convenient battery life indicator.)  Unlike with traditional pressure cooker canning, you can reuse these lids.  (As long as they are not damaged when you take them off.)
